ICEM CADDS Direct Interface

The ICEM CADDS Direct Interface enables a direct data exchange between all ICEM Applications and the CADDS CAD/CAM System. Therefore, it is possible to share the same data among the applications without the need of using non-optimized standard Interfaces.

Supported entities
Base geometry and NURBS Curves an Surfaces are currently processed directly. The ICEM CADDS Direct Interface is based on ICEM ASCII Part (IPARTA) V3.2 and CADDS5(4X).

Translator Integration
The Direct Interface can be started right within the ICEM applications such as ICEM DDN or ICEM Surf or it can be executed stand-alone.

Supported platforms
The ICEM CADDS Direct Interface is available on the SGI platform for OS version IRIX 5.3 and higher; on HP for OS version HP-UX 9.05 and higher; and on SUN for OS version Solaris 2.51 and higher.
