ICEM DDN Version 3.4.02 Released
on UNIX and NT

Our tradition of including feature content in what are normally considered maintenance releases continues with ICEM DDN 3.4.02. Released at the end of September, this new version contains over forty new features in addition to quality improvements. These new features are in the areas of interoperability, productivity enhancements, and specific customer requests. A few of these features are as follows:

  • Preview Compare for parts and patterns, to graphically compare and display the differences between various revision levels
  • Dynamic level selection
  • Global Text Modification, to find and replace all occurrences of note and label text strings in one operation
  • Direct interface to Pro/ENGINEER, to support export of geometric data to Pro/ENGINEER
  • Many DXF translator improvements
  • ORGA SQL
  • Imaging Tools TIFF enhancements, including G4 fax support
  • Improved dynamic B-spline curve and surface modification diagnostics
  • Enhancements to B-spline fillet surface creation to define a corner fillet
  • NC functions for reversing and trimming basic toolpaths
  • NC ASM finishing and roughing improvements
  • Integrated PDF and HTML user manuals that include all new 3.4.02 features
