2.4 Installation on Windows
Following the steps for performing a typical installation of ICEM DDN 5.1
1. To start the installation please insert the installation CD into the CDROM drive. The autorun starts and the installation welcome screen is displayed.

2. After the ICEM DDN Licensing Daemon (FLEXlm License Manager) has been identified by the installation setup, it may be removed from the system.

3. ICEM DDN binaries may be selected either in English or German language. The choice affects the presentation of the tablet files and online tutorials.

4. ICEM DDN 5.1 Installation Setup offers a choice of components to be installed. The ICEM DDN 5.1 core components and ICEM PlotView component are preselected by default. It is not possible to unselect the ICEM DDN 5.1 core components.

5. The installation setup asks for the destination folder’s name to which the ICEM DDN 5.1 program files are to be copied. The folder’s pathname may not contain blank spaces.

6. If the option "Additional ICEM Options + Orga Archive" is selected, the installation setup asks for the location of the ORGA Archive administrator directory and the location of the ORGA Archive designer directory.

7. This option may be selected for the installation of the ICEM DDN Licensing Daemon (FLEXlm License Manager) to the license server.

8. The installation setup asks for the program folder’s name in which all ICEM DDN 5.1 icons are located.

9. A setup status displays the progress of the copy process.

10. The last step of the installation setup offers the choice to reboot the computer in order to save the settings.

Important!
Do not use blank spaces in path names for the installation and work directory as they may cause errors.
Program Execution
You may run ICEM DDN by double-clicking the ICEM DDN icon in the desktop folder or by choosing
